Trending For Fall

There are a few things trending for Fall right now that I am lusting over:  sleeveless coats, olive, and gray.

Those of you who have followed along for some time know how much I love to layer.  My friends and family tell me I’m the queen of layering.  I just feel more “put-together” that way.  This JOA brushed plaid vest has been on my back since opening the box!  I’m planning on wearing this vest alone as a dress, too! 

 I’ve never owned an olive pant before, but now I’m wondering how I have survived for so long without them!?  These 7 For All Mankind coated skinnies are more than perfect for the season
 and  paired so well with my vest and pumps.

Now, it’s obvious I don’t frequent the heel/pump; but when I do, I like to keep it neutral and let my outfit do the talking.  These Schutz pumps are crazy-comfortable for a high heel.  I’m excited that I got the gray.  I’ll be able to wear these little beauties all throughout fall and winter.

I’ve always said, “invest in quality basics.”  That way you can mix and match with items you already have in your closet.  I’m thinking an all-gray monochromatic look next! 

You know that one place you continually shop at? Even if the item you want is online somewhere else? Piperlime has been my go-to site since I stumbled upon them a few short months ago.  I’ve been going crazy ever since.  Poor Christopher just had to load up his trunk and dispose of my guestroom/office full of Piperlime boxes — which I just had to clean because my BFF is coming in for the weekend.  eeek!

Maddy, not pictured, is sleeping like a champ in her carseat.  I always feel so proud when she does that!
